Hello, we're Jade & Janaye.
We're a husband-and-wife team based in Cairns, with more than 20 years of construction experience. Jade leads the crew on site; Janaye runs the office, quotes and client care. Strong foundations, quality finishes and a 2-year warranty are our promises.
We believe in strong foundations for our team too. We invest in training and upskilling, so your job is built by qualified carpenters and apprentices who take pride in getting it right the first time.
Our aim is simple: make transforming your outdoor space stress-free, with quick communication, honest advice and no detail overlooked.

Where do you work?
We're based in Cairns and our usual service area includes Gordonvale, the Northern Beaches, Port Douglas, Mossman, Kuranda, Mareeba, Atherton, Yungaburra, Malanda, Babinda, Innisfail and surrounding communities. We also welcome enquiries for larger residential, commercial and body corporate projects elsewhere in Far North Queensland.
What's the difference between an estimate and a quote?
An initial estimate is a guide price based on your description and photos, so you can check the project suits your budget. A final quotation follows a site measure, once we've checked access, levels, drainage and materials. It sets out the scope and the price we'll work to.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
We review your details and photos, then contact you to talk through the job. If it's a good fit we book a site measure, and after that you receive a written proposal with the scope, options and pricing.
Can you manage a project with several parts?
Yes. Many of our jobs combine earthworks, drainage, retaining walls, fencing and gates. We plan them in the right order with one team, so each stage sets up the next.
Do you take on smaller jobs?
Yes. We're happy to quote smaller jobs such as a single gate, a short fence run or a small retaining wall, as well as larger residential, strata and commercial projects.
Are you licensed and is the work guaranteed?
QuickDig holds QBCC licence 15627167, is a Master Builders member, and backs its workmanship with a 2-year warranty.
